SCOUT LEADERSHIP
Leadership is a vital part of the Scouting program and Scouts in positions of leadership run the troop. They take care of the tasks necessary to plan for and run troop meetings, patrol meetings, and other activities. Leadership opportunities allow Scouts to learn and develop important skills needed for their futures.
Leadership positions can start very early in a scouts career at the patrol level. Once a Scout reaches First Class rank and above, the positions of responsibility become more available. Please visit the Advancement page for additional requirements for leadership positions.
